Mr. Abser Kamal working as Managing Director of Grameen Fisheries and Livestock Foundation from February 2015. He was born in January 31, 1949 in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.  He obtained his masters degree in Marine Biology from University of Chittagong in 1976. Mr. Kamal has a dedicated career of  25 years in Grameen Bank & performed  many responsibilities & duties. He worked as Chief of Services Department & also worked as Secretary of Board of Directors, Grameen Bank. He was Consultant for replication of village phone program in Uganda appointed by Grameen U.S Foundation. After this he joined in Grameen Shakti as General Manager in March, 2004 and worked as Managing Director from 2011 to January 2015.

His interests focus on spreading renewable energy technologies all over Bangladesh, integration of renewable energy for social mobilization and more replication .
