Kazi  Huque is the Intel appointed CEO of Grameen Intel Social Business Ltd. He is a Finance Director at Intel Capital which is Intel’s global investment division focused on innovative technology start-ups and companies worldwide.  Since 1991 Intel Capital has invested more than US$9B in over 1,000 companies in 46 countries.  Grameen Intel was its first investment in a social business in Bangladesh.

Kazi co-founded Grameen Intel together with Nobel Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus and former Intel CEO Craig Barrett.  The company creates technology solutions to address social problems such as low agriculture output and maternal wellness.  He is a speaker at various US universities where he shares his experiences on starting up a social business through corporate joint ventures.  The company’s work has been featured at various UN organizations and publications such as The Economist, Bloomberg Businessweek and the Globe & Mail.

He holds an MBA and a BSc in applied mathematics and computer science from the University of Rochester in USA.
