Ludovic de Gromard

Ludovic de Gromard is the CEO & co-founder of the tech social start-up CHANCE, that uses artificial intelligence to reveal invisible talents, to themselves and to the world of work. CHANCE is a free semi-virtual coach for invisible candidates, and a semi-virtual headhunter for non-managerial positions for companies (Casino, Accor, Edenred, Renault).

While launching a glass bottles manufacturing plant in the UAE in 2012, Ludovic personnally interviewed over 1,000 people from 7 countries, to recruit 200 collaborators. He realized that most candidates had a hard time understanding by themselves what they were made for. On the company’s side, he also experienced real difficulties recruiting for operators positions as the traditional recruitment process based on conceptual job descriptions and CVs was very inefficient and very unfair.

Having then moved to San Francisco serving as COO for Saverglass USA, Ludovic had an epic encounter at SBD 2014 with Pr. Yunus, and decided to launch what became CHANCE (40 people in Rio and Paris).

Ludovic studied social entrepreneurship at ESSEC (Paris), MBA at IAE (Buenos Aires) and applied psychology (San Francisco). Living in Brazil, he travelled to over 60 countries and speaks 5 languages.
